Dick Johnson Racing (DJR), Australia’s longest operating motor racing team, has announced the launch of the DJR Business Connect program.
The program is aimed at small to medium businesses, who predominantly rely on business-to-business connections to grow their businesses. The program focusses on connecting like minded business partners and less on consumer facing logo placement.
“Traditionally, V8 Supercar teams have gone after big businesses and big brands in order to fill their cars with logos,” Glenn Turnor, General Manager, DJR explains.
“We have realised more and more that small to medium businesses are looking for entry level partnerships where they can focus on networking and promotion in their local area.
"We have put together some set packages to give companies an idea of what we are offering, but we work closely with our partners to ensure we build benefits packages to suit their individual business needs.”
DJR owner, Dick Johnson, comments, “Our current partners have told us how useful the business-to-business elements of the sponsorship packages are. We wanted to reach out to companies who may only have a presence in one or two areas and do not need a year long, national (and now international) exposure or promotions.
"Our DJR Business Connect program provides an intense,highly focussed business-to-business program during the time when the V8 Supercars Carnival rolls in to their area (or another time if they wish) and capitalises on the excitement which takes over the area.

The DJR Business Connect packages start at just $10,000 and include hotlaps, joint promotions, networking breakfasts and dinners with the team and other sponsors, tickets to races and other exclusive business networking opportunities.
