I'm a Ford fan first and foremost.
This ranks up there with Jamie Whincup winning last years championship for being absolutely cringe worthy.
It out ranks it for how bitter sweet it will be if Courtney wins the championship.
Part of me thinks **** you James and the other part thinks lets go and get another championship for DJR and Ford.

As a died in arse Ford supporter it gives me so much pain to see another top line driver going to the scum.
It hurts even more when it's a DJR driver.

Ford have been out foxed by HRT and Holden with this #10 Rec. Putting it out there to get the fish biting then pulling it away at the last minute to remove any other possible option.
Lower than a snakes arsehole but very smart from HRT and Holden.

Pretty bloody sad when the others are picking over the carcass of DJR

Mate, after this weeks rumours/relevations, this is one of those weekends where you just don't know what to feel

Of course we want DJR to win another Touring Car championship.... but we don't want the a**hole to take his No 1 and put it on the door of a HRT crapbox next year

The alternative is...... another Whingecup win and then listen to the wankers in commentary carrying on about how good he and 888 are

I could only manage 1 rant emoticon icon Col

would love to hear what Charlie was going release.

Just quietly i don't think it would have been too flattering of Gow or young James

Looks like you are a bit fired up this morning Maq!

Courtney can go elsewhere next year if he wants, that is up to him. If he wins the championship this weekend, it will be in a FORD that is run by OUR TEAM and that is all that counts.

The record books will show DJR as the ATCC winner for 2010.

Cheers
John

I agree, we all read the utter tripe that copiously sprays forth from the anus like orrifice of James Phelps even though we know he seems to only have a self appointed degree in making shit up, cheap shots. and rife speculation and in real terms there is little to no truth to just about everything he publishes. The reality is that as fans we feel some hurt from this constant attack, cyber stalking or whatever his repugnant agenda is, and we want to see out team fight back, not be bullied by some gormless assinine attacker who's purile trash is beginning to hit at the hearts of all of us. Just like watching the playground bully beating on the little kid , we all want to see the little kid turn into bruce lee and kick the bully's ass, and it's no different with our team, the silence and taking the beating is continuing and we all just want to get in there and punch on with the bully and help out our mate.

At the end of the day it will be what it is, but the journey is a bit harrowing and wearying, you can't blame people for venting a little steam.

Lets get behind DJR at Homebush, [y][y]

This rates as perhaps the lowest ebb of local tin-top racing; "our" team gutted like a rabbit, "our" best-performed driver virtually frog-marched into a Holden team...

While initially I felt frustration and mild disgust at what appeared to be developing when I first heard the guts of it a couple of weeks back, I will be cheering loud and long for both Dick Johnson Racing, and James Courtney this weekend: if the championship falls to "us" this weekend, it will have been achieved by may all-time favourite team, by a driver who has given me more to cheer about this year than anybody else...

Next year? Will reserve my opinions on the likelihood of me showing any interest in the category past this weekend for now... but in the meantime...

Go the mighty #18, I'm with ya all the way.

The positivity is back! [y][y][y]

Its been a tough few weeks around here and our wheels were beginning to fall off. Its our passion for DJR that unites us, and which has brought an awesome group of people, from all over Australia, together. Whatever eventuates in the coming weeks, lets show the world what an awesome site this is. Lets show them what DJR is made of - SPIRIT! (and I am not referring to Jim Beam :D)

Go DJR!

[iag]100% John! I think a DJR series victory this weekend will have a positive impact on the team personally and commercially. I would prefer this than the innuendo and blame game on everything that has been brewing in the background should we fall short. Game on!!!

Guys what you need to take into account is the fact that there will be no drive for Courtney next year if Charlie and Dick split. Dick has not found anyone to buy out Charlie's share and therefore James needs to look out for himself as only one rec will remain at DJR.

James is contracted to "Johnson Schwerkolt Pty Ltd", if they split JC's contract becomes null and void.

If Dick and Charlie sort things out James will still be with the team next year as he still remains contracted until the end of 2011.

I'm being a little positive with the announcement by FPR that they are not proceeding with the fourth rec with the possibility that he will be with DJR again next year. But I don't blame him for seeking another drive or covering his own arse just in case things go to crap over XMAS, just hope he doesn't end up at HRT.

Next year is still an unknown quantity - what is real is the chance for DJR to claim the championship for the first time since 1995 - go you good things .

G'day everyone, I havent posted for a long long time but have still been reading and this has been really testing my support for the series. One thing that will not change and hasnt since 1980 is that I support Dick Johnsons team. There has been so much written and speculated on and I must admit I have had some things to say to a few mates about Jnr growing a set and striking out on his own but listening to Dick on Big sports breakfast yesterday and suprisingly something "Not So" Bright said has prompted me to dust off the keyboard. Dicks words were " we will be operating as a 2 car team next year" "Same sponsors" "Family are most important" "I dont like gardening so nothing else to do". Dick built this team' if it wasnt for Westpoint the team would never have needed a 50% buyout, then the brand we also support wiped us like a dirty arse, as bright said indirectly Courtney leaving is Fords fault. To be honest I never liked the Rat that much but supported him at DJR, as for James, I'll be cheering the three DJR falcons and hope #18 wins championship and then dont let the door hit you in the arse on your way out.I was really disillusioned until listened to intervierw with Dick, whatever happens am still solid, P.S love to see the 17 competitive as at Sandown.[sc]
