I honestly think there is more to the issues at HRT than meets the eye, and I also believe that Skaife's retirement was more about the current crisis than "...loosing the hunger...". How many more chances is TW going to be given? The guy is a criminal!

Wasn't the reason that Skaife, John Kelly and Kees Weel bought HRT, K-Mart racing and Team Brock because that Scottish germ went bankrupt and Holden had to find buyers for the three teams.
Then when he has the money he has just waltzed back in and tried taking over again.

I think the bankruptcy boys need to have another look at how he avoided this all being part of his due diligence, there is no way there wasn't some kind of tricky paper shuffling done to conceal assets here.

beejay I was on holidays down the Gold Coast and started chatting to this bloke wearing a HRT Jacket. Turns out he is a HRT employee until the end of the season. He went on about how Skaife was getting shafted as Tander was now the chosen one. Also said that he expected Tander Sports to take over what Skaife Sports was currently doing. Tander is not well liked in HRT by most of the employees, Skaife was and was also well respected by the majority. The reason Kelly is leaving the fold is starting to make sense to me know, he was a little cryptic with some of his answers but he said they would make sense in a little while. A lot of current employees are tied up until the end of 2009 expect some defections in 2010 if other new teams have a reasonable year in 2009. I take it he was talking about Larry's new team and Team Kelly.

From my understanding Walkinshaw was declared as unfit to hold a V8 license, this I think is where Tander Sports comes into it.

Unfortunatly I only chatted to him once and doubt I will ever see him again, although he said he wouldn't mind a job at PMM as the Coast suited him.

With all the talk and threats on other Forums of people giving it to HRT because of what Wankinshaw did to Skaife including throwing their merchandise into the HRT garage among other things, did anyone witness anything at Oran Park?
