Betty would have enjoyed every second of that. I'm sure she would have had several other things to do, but just simply sitting where she did would have brought her quite a bit of satisfaction.

I agree,.. I don't think it was intimidation,. . .more like holding the little grub to account, make sure he wasn't ging to continue with the lies while she was looking straight in his eyes.

I think betty know what she wants and how to get it, but also has been around long enough that she doesn't have to stoop to the low levels others do on the way to achieving it.

I hope she stays that way.[bw]

I understand Betty has an issue with the Giz but i think its best sorted out through her solicitor. There is enough crap in the sport, dont need Betty making a bad situation worse like the Kellys did with Dave Reynolds. Betty would be better to put her energy into making her Mercs a fair bit quicker than they are

I understand she did not actually do anything, but it was reported in Melbourne papers etc and i dont think the negative publicity this creates helps our sport in any way. I know the old saying "any publicity is good publicity" but with all the negative publicity being reported about DJR, i dont think it has helped them at all either.

At a time when teams are finding it hard to attract big dollar sponsors, they really need positive media reporting, sure Betty doesnt need the cash, she can afford to wipe her bum with $100 dollar notes, but at the moment people like Dick are closer to using the waxed paper squares...........................

Anyone heard anything of the pending legal action? is was the talk of Clipsal on the Friday but seems to have gone a bit quiet.

She's blogged on facebook about it, there was nothing in it, the media have just made a big issue of it and put their own headline up. I don't think the corporate big dogs are going to be bothered by having two adversary's face off in what is essentially an adversarial sport.
You're right though, WTF is it with media that they are constantly looking to cut everything down for the sake of a "story" even if it is made up?
